Allison made her feature film debut as a lead producer with the indie breakout comedy, Big Boys, which World Premiered at BFI Flare Film Festival in London.

Served as an International Juror at the Inside Out LGBT Film Festival in Toronto
Directed Legacy of Love, a short documentary about a lesbian couple whose relationship spans 50 years. She directed the 8-minute episode for the Facebook Watch series 365 Days of Love, which was executive produced by Sofia Vergara. Released on Valentine's Day 2019, the film sparked conversation amongst a global audience, gaining over 2.8 million views and becoming one of the most watched episodes in the series

Produced Danny The Manny, written and directed by Mike Roma, a web series about a gay babysitter and the cross-dressing kid he watches and influences. IndieWire called the show “nearly perfect” and listed it as one of the best web series of 2016
As the Director of Editorial Video at EqualPride Media, Allison built a team of diverse video creators, and directed a wide variety of original documentaries, red carpet interviews, and social content for the largest LGBT brands in the world: The Advocate, Pride.com, and Out Magazine. Her work stimulated a vibrant new revenue stream, generated millions of views, and reached unprecedented audience impact for the company. This work included World View a digital series spotlighting LGBT activists around the globe fighting for their rights, hosted by Netflix Queer Eye star Karamo Brown
At Pride Media she further diversified her portfolio by creating multimedia digital journalism stories, and interviewing highly-influential media figures including Christine Vachon, Joey Soloway, Cheryl Dunye, and Kate Bornstein
2015
Released A Kiss From Your Lips online to immediate success when Upworthy featured the film in a Valentine’s Day post. It won 3 festival awards, and caught the eye of Transparent creator Joey Soloway, who selected the film to be featured on their website Wifey.tv. The film has over half a million views across platforms and continues to charm viewers globally
